I'm pleased to announce that the legendary Shan of the House of the Goddess will be speaking in 2010 and also helping you all to arrange the closing ritual, which as you know, is formulated and performed by you lot, our honoured guests.

Hi Pixi, it is indeed. Lovely to hear from you. Where's my dress lol:). Seriously, I had lots of compliments about the dress I tried on at Jan and Gav's, I really will have to buy one. Jan and Gav will be at Mercian next year, and I'm glad you will be too. I did look for you this year, but didn't find you. We had a great time though. I don't have a contact for you, but you can catch me on my website www.witchdom.com.

We will be having a Blackfoot sweat lodge lead by Windspirit:

"We hold these Lodges in the traditional way from the 26 years of my husband’s experience living, working and learning with the Indians in Canada. There are a number of ceremonies including the Fire Lighting Ceremony, the Lodge ceremony itself with drumming, traditional songs, talking and praying inside the Lodge with the last being the Pipe Ceremony. The space that is held within and around the Lodge is gentle, caring, loving and supporting, where each brother and sister can feel safe, secure and able to release, ask for help and just be.As is traditional with most Indian nations, it is a clothed Lodge ie everyone wears modest clothing – this seems to be the most asked question by interested participants! "

It is wonderful that we will be given the opportunity to visit a sweat lodge. It must have been such a spiritual experience living with the Canadian Indians. I'm very excited about this. :D

I must confess I had forgotten all about it, but more than happy to send you one on.
we had every intention of coming this year, but for some stupid reason I forgot to get tickets (can you see a pattern emerging) told all my friends and fellow traders about, they all got tickets, we could not Doh!!!!!
we have already got tickets for next year, but not able to get a stall holders place, never mind it would be great just to chill and enjoy all the great things happening and met friends old and new.
will check out your website (won't forget)

Pip will be doing a Ghanaian street rhythms workshop. We did this at the last hearth camp and it was absolutely brilliant using drums, sticks, tins, rattles, jars of beans and anything lying around.
