thought i would say hi and thanks to all who made this years gathering fantastic.( i'm Mal/froggy the one selling and making the hula hoops)
i have been a practicing pagan witch for about 21 years although do not follow an actual tradition. i've been a member on several pagan forums before but didn't like a lot of the competitive political back biting they had so after time just stopped going on there, it was too draining.
it was the first time i'd been anywhere like it and because of the effect it had on me now feel as though i am ready to be more active socially as i was made to feel so much at home over the entire time we were there. the energy alone was remarkable it was like a constant giant hug. my boys loved it too, and they both jumped the fire together which made me so proud and it helped them with their relationship with each other too.

it was fantastic meeting you all and i am now on a mission to seek out local groups that i could attend.

hope every one had a great equinox

blessings to all
x

Hi Loscann / Mal

So glad to hear you enjoyed the Gathering, The Hearth also run an open teaching/circle meeting on the first monday of the month which is open to all. There is normally a talk, occationally pathworkings or a workshop and your £2 will get you a cup of tea (and a biscuit when we are lucky).

This is held at the Beacon centre in Nuneaton, http://www.the-beacon.org.uk/

Blessed be
Salane

hi Salane
i was just on the site reading about it, i have not really met any others that share the same view on witchcraft as me so it was such a refreshing change. most of one side of my family are/were farmers so grew up with loads of their traditions, it wasn't until i started reading up on witchcraft and paganism that it all clicked together, it was never given a name when i was little it was always just how things were done.
i am definitely going to look into coming down to a meeting though, especialy as i have had a taster of the people who go too (of cause the tea also sounds good lol)

blessings
x

Hi

Just want to echo what Loscann said. I've been coming to the Gathering for 4 years and only mised the one when the site changed. Each year it gets better and better.

I work a lot of the festivals doing massage so regard this one as MY relaxation one. A time to sit round the fire and listen to some inspirational people. I love the site and have some sloe seeping for a hopefully magical brew.

I am a practicing Druid over the last 9 years and love the magical works that go on at the site.

Looking forward to the next one.

Blessings of chestnuts and heart fires.

Rowan
