We were due for another Hearth trip abroad this year, but with the recession, everyone is broke. A few of us had the idea of a week camping in Cornwall instead. We could go down after the Wessex Gathering which is usually the first weekend in June - from Dorset we would already be halfway there. What does everyone think?

The Wessex tickets usually include camping for the following week for free - and that would be even cheaper! . Usual jackanory: I would be interested as long as the post Wessex week coincides with Warwickshire half term.

I'd be interested as it's been a few years since I went to one of the places my ancestors came from but I would need to share a car with someone. Happy to contribute towards petrol. Lesley

Sounds like a good idea, I love Cornwall, especially by the coast.

There's a camp site in Tintagel. We could explore all the monuments of the Penwith peninsular, St Michael's Mount and Boscastle.
