Hi All
I attended an emergency meeting at the G&C last night. It turned out that it had been called as a result of a number of complaints about abusive behaviour recently. The general feelingwas that the main culprits are probably not really members, just going in for cheap beer. The rugby section think they know who they are, so offered to try to put a stop to it.
If anyone does suffer from any abuse at the G&C please let me know, so I can bring it up at the meetings.

I was also asked that we keep off the football pitch until the end of July, as it is being reseeded this week. Please pass this message on to everybody.

The unity process seems to have gone dormant recently, and seemed to be an 'unmentionable' subject last night. There appears to be growing misgivings about the way it is being handled, and possibly about some peoples motives, as 'reminder' notices were read out stating that all applications for grants, external fundings, etc must be approved by the management committee before being submitted (a dig at recent issues with the cricket section)
