We are unable to attend this year and have two adult tickets and a stall pass. Please contact me and I'll be happy to pass them on for the normall asking price or nearest offer.

Hi there,
I notice you have posted a poll question on whether we should have a beer tent at the Mercian Gathering. We have discussed this on previous occasions and decided not to for several very good reasons.
It would change the nature of the festival from a spiritual event to a beerfest. There are plenty of good festivals where people can get pissed and just be entertained, but not so many where spirituality is the main focus.There would be the inevitable number of people getting drunk and causing trouble, and it would leave us a lot of mess to clear up. The Gathering is not a dry festival, people are entirely welcome to bring their own supply of booze, but we encourage people to get drunk on the atmosphere, not alcohol!
Finally, the Mercian Gathering is not a commercial event - our aim is not to make money but hold a Pagan festival that honours the Old Gods.
