The Mercian Gathering requires a small army of volunteers to help it run on the weekend it is held, and also for set up and take down [the marquees don't erect themselves!].
If you volunteer, you can earn back the price of your ticket. You would have to work 4 hours a day over the weekend, or 2 days set up or take down.
We ask new volunteers to purchase a ticket first as we have been stung in the past by people who got free tickets and did no work.
If you have volunteered in the past, and we know you are reliable, you can get a free veteran volunteer ticket.

hi
i was just wondering if you need volunteers for the healing tent?
if so, how many hours would i have to work  ..i have my own insurance, i practice reiki, indian head massage, swedish body massage..
and by september will be qualified in holistic crystal therapy and reflexology..hope this is a help to you ..

You would have to work a minimum of 3 hours on Saturday and 3 hours on Sunday. Could you email me with your details?

I've nearly got enough volunteers for the Gathering now. I just need a few more people for the cafe and marshalling, and we are short of a couple of people for the healing tent. Just to remind you, if you do want to volunteer for the Gathering 2009, you need to get your completed forms to me by 1st August 2009. The rotas and any tickets will be sent out the following week.

I could do with a few more cafe volunteers, and people to help with the marshalling friday and sunday. Also anyone who is prepared to act as a driver collecting people from the station FRiday and taking them back on Sunday.
